Free Keyword Research- Part 2

Now that you know how to find profitable keywords, how would you like to spy on your competition? I know of a site that allows you to conduct the best Competitive Intelligence possible. It's called http://www.spyfoo.com/.

There is a Free version and a Subscription version, but since I'm all about doing things for as little money as possible, we'll stick with the Free version...for now.

Basically, http://www.spyfoo.com/ allows you to "spy" on your Google Adwords competitors. You might be asking yourself, "Why would I want to do that?" Here's the answer...

If someone is paying for ads for a specific keyword (i.e. the keywords you found using Part 1 of Free Keyword Research), then that keyword (KW) or keyword phrase (KPW) is making them money.

"When you know how much a keyword costs, you can take that into account when you are writing search optimized content for your website." -Spyfoo website

If a keyword is cheap with very little traffic (see Free Keyword Research- Part 1), then you might not want to include it in, let's say, Article Marketing.

On the other hand, if a keyword is expensive and gets a lot of traffic, then you should be using it in any content that you create.

All you have to do is enter your KW or KWP into the Search box on the Home page of http://www.spyfoo.com/ and your results are returned.

Look for keywords that fit into the criteria we talked about in Free Keyword Research- Part 1 and also have a cost per click of at least $.30 (30 cents USD).

That's what I use the Free subscription for; and of course, the paid subscription has a lot more bells and whistles.

In the end, the choice is up to you!!
